I am going to be doing a major edit on this story in Feb 2016. When I finish the edits I am going to delete this version and repost. Mari has finally found a place where she felt at home with Dan. Though she is eighteen for various reasons he has been designated as her guardian. It has been several months since the events that led to her being changed and saved. Now Dan is forcing her to return to the hell she calls high school to get her diploma. How is she going to deal with having guys, and a few girls, hitting on her? Is her wolf going to help or be a problem? What does her future really look like? Will the new friends she is slowly making be true or fake? She is most definitely not looking forward to all the drama of kids who haven't encountered both the supernatural and living on the streets. The six, Mila, Holcum, Kyrill, Nacy, Jace, and Danal report to their new ship. It is the first of the new FTL vessels Earth is designing. They are both plank owners and initial crew. Their jobs are to get the ship ready for her maiden cruise and to ensure she returns to Earth. What are they going to experience and how will it affect them as individuals, mates, and their world? The time for the battle with the ultimate darkness is quickly approaching. What is Dan and the others going to have to overcome before they succeed? Who of the many friends and companions are they going to have to lose? How much will the world as they know it will be damaged and destroyed?

Has Ray, Hands, and the rest of their packs finally gotten a chance to relax? While Ray is in the past how is this going to impact with his present? Another question is why did the God of the Pack Fathers call Toes to his realm? How is Toes going to deal with the potential changes in his life? Are Hands and Ray going to recover fully? With Ray how is his time in the past going to impact on the present? What is he going to learn and how will that impact on his present? Time is going to tell.

This is the first story I ever wrote about Dan and is about 20 years old. (oh god I am old...) You could consider this to be somewhat of a predicessor to the WOR when Dan appears. There aren't any other Dan stories I have done so the three I have somewhat started posting are it.

This is a mashup of a number of my stories and characters for fun. It is going to include the Dan from the Neko story, Dan from Silver Moon, Holcum and Mila from The Cadet, and others. It has no rhyme or reason, simply something to do as the urge hits me. If you are not familiar with the other stories this won't make much sense to you.

Mari found her mate in Shanna. They both have issues to deal with, in Mari's case it is her past of abuse and being turned by a rogue. For Shanna it was watching her family killed by hunters who could be considered rogue hunters. They only want to kill anyone who isn't human. Both have a great deal to overcome to not just become mates but mates who feel worthy of each others. For Dan he is trying to deal with a relationship with Mari's gym teacher, Stephanie Eaton, and how his wolf is drawn to her. At the same time they are dealing with a new rogue though this time it is a rogue cat and not wolf. Steph, Ms. Eaton, is trying to figure out what she is learning about Dan and the supernatural and how it might impact on her.
