Some people found comfort in sitting next to a fireplace or having someone hold onto them and whisper sweet nothing into their ear. James Potter did not find comfort in any of these things, instead finding comfort in food, specifically sweet food that would make his tastebuds celebrate with delight. The breakup between him and Lily Evans was popular gossip around the school and the head boy of Gryffindor found himself grimacing at the whisper that seemed to sprout every time someone saw him. Late at night, Jame snuck out of his quarters and crept down to the kitchen expecting to see no one except maybe a House-Elf but instead, he found a Hufflepuff with a speck of flour on her cheek.
