Thanksgiving is coming and the country is on covid-19 lockdown. Young Matty Sullivan longs to spend the holiday with her Granny Ivy. However, Granny now lives in an assisted care facility, and the facility is closed to visitors. The long-awaited day arrives, but Matty is deeply depressed. The big dinner does not appeal to her, and she slumps away from the table. But the assisted living facility isn't really that far away. Matty decides to leave home and walk the distance just to see her granny.
