I'd Like to think I was a good person, before it all began. I didn't cheat on tests, or steal. But throughout my entire life, I was treated if I were a monster. At the age of five, after several agonizing tests, I was diagnosed with Reactive Attachment Disorder. But not even that title could describe just how strange I was. When another kid got hurt, I would cry. Whenever someone else was told a funny joke, I would laugh hysterically. People looked at me as if I were crazy- and for while I agreed with them. That was until I, Caddie Jones, was exiled to Nox Haven Academy, a school for truly special kids. Not the mentally ill, psychotic kind of special but the magical kind. Like witches, vampires, fairies and werewolves. Call me crazy if you want, you wouldn't be the first. But the stories are all true. The supernatural did exist and I was one of them. Life there was cool until suddenly, I was faced with two-faced witches, egotistical princes, hormone driven werewolves, and an army of evil warlocks who were threatening to destroy the world. ... Maybe Nox Haven was a school for psychos after all. ---------------------------------------------------------- Highest Rank: #2 in Paranormal 1st Place winner of The Night Shift's Killer Competition 4/10/16 Illustration by: Stephanie Pitino (www.ClairObscur.fr) (1st book in series)

In their final year onboard their assigned university frigate, Nim and Seig have their sights set on receiving their pilot wings and taking up full commissions in the Interstellar Navy—provided they aren't discharged first on account of their penchant for staging elaborate ship-wide pranks rumored to have caused the abrupt resignation of the previous Headmaster Captain. Everything changes when their university frigate makes an unscheduled jump into non-aligned space and they find themselves on the front line of humanity's first contact with another sentient, spacefaring species. The thrill of being among the first people in mankind's seven hundred year history of galactic expansion to encounter alien life is quickly extinguished as the alien vessel opens fire on their ship, sending out only one repeating broadcast as to their intentions: “Your destruction is the Will of God.” Four months before their official graduations, Nim, Seig, and the entirety of Cadet Flight Methuselah launch their marauders into the fray against an enemy whose capabilities are unknown, learning quickly that their days of flying combat simulations are over. There are only two grades being handed out this time: pass and live, or fail and die.

Book two starts five months after the end of the first one; with Alexander struggling to return to his squadron, and Angela fighting to survive on the front lines without his amazing skills or powerful presence. With the affects of the Eden program plaguing his every living moment, a broken and battered Alexander finds that in order to return to his friends and fight against the alien abominations that have stolen nearly everything from him, he must first survive the most intense and gruelling training the American Military has to offer. He must make it through Marine Corps Boot Camp, a training program designed to destroy young men and women, and then build them back up into one of the most elite fighting forces in the world. His second in command, Angela, however, finds herself stuck out on the front lines with the other members of the squadron as she is now forced to somehow take his place as the Squadron Commander of a tired, and depressed outfit that is down two members. Yet, with the U.N.E. threat pushing against NATO forces and threatening to invade Germany, she and her friends must fight on and give Alexander time to return.

The year is 2043 and the nations of the world find themselves almost powerless against an unknown enemy known as Unknown Entities, or U.N.E.'s. The Worlds best weapon against these hideous creatures from space are the giant Mech's and their pilots who stand on the front lines and fight a never ending stream of U.N.E.'s to protect their lands, nations, and friends from harm. Two young pilots from very different worlds come together at a secret weapons facility as the next generation of Mech's are ready to hit the front line. One is a young British pilot born and raised in combat who is haunted by horrible memories, while the other is an American pilot who has never seen combat but has never found anything or anyone that can best her. Can these two young officers set aside their differences and pride and do what needs to be done? Or will they falter when it matters most?
