When Louis Tomlinson wakes up to find out the whole world has forgotten One Direction ever existed, he has to travel to extremes to get his life back to how it was. Louis sat down under the dim hospital lights fixing the sheets over Harry's shoulders. He took his hand gingerly, afraid the wrong move would make him shatter to pieces. He looked so fragile. His head kept sending him back to Bringham Cabin, the memories of happiness clouded his mind, his wrong decision hunted him. He kissed the back of the younger boy's knuckles letting the tears flow. After hours of fighting back, of keeping his composure for the other lads, he couldn't take it anymore. He still hoped every passing minute that Harry would miraculously open his eyes and flash Louis that perfect crooked smile. As he moved a curl from his damp forehead something warm overcame him, making his breath hitch. He slid his hand down cupping Harry's cheek tenderly and pressed their foreheads together, closing his eyes. He embraced the warm feeling that fluttered in his stomach, finally accepting what it was. He just wished he had realized it before. Before Harry was free falling.

A young boy at the age of 14 ran away from home because of his abusive stepfather. The same boy lived with a friend for two years, learning to forget his past. He was perfectly fine until he received a random text from stranger who claimed to be Louis Tomlinson, Harry’s idol. Maybe talking about the past wouldn’t be so hard if someone would actually listen to his story.

Harry Styles can see ghosts. He’s been able to see them ever since he was 6 years old and nearly died after a car accident. Ghosts come to him to ask for help so that they can rest in peace knowing that the unfinished work they were still on Earth for had been finished. But one day, a ghost by the name of Louis Tomlinson comes to him. Harry and Louis have no idea what his unfinished work is but slowly, Harry begins to fall for Louis, even though Louis’ a ghost. WARNING: if you're one of those people who pick on stories being too "Carroty" you'll hate this story. I wrote this around the beginning of their world-wide fame (around 2012) when Up All Night had only just recently been released and they were still doing video diaries so please bear with it!
