Charlotte Everley and her best friend had a tradition. Every summer on June 26th, they call one number--one random number of the same area code, purely for entertainment. When Charlotte's best friend Stella found love with the help of their 'tradition', she added another reason. To find Charlotte a boyfriend. After three years of endless match ups, set ups, blind dates. and not to mention two calls to, thankfully, female receivers, the summer of eleventh grade comes rolling by, and so does the fateful day of June 26th. It's senior year for Ever Steele and Drew Parker. Felhon High's most active, competitive and smartest student. They both have a lot of common interest like their love for sports and their high grades in class. But why do they despise each other so much? People with a lot of common interest always get along. Right? Maybe it's because Ever is a goody to shoes while Drew is a trouble maker and renowned playboy. Maybe because Ever chose to stay pure while Drew chose to hump anything that moves. Or maybe because they both want the slot on getting into Yale. So Drew made a game, one that will decide who is best and deserves the slot in Yale. Ever gladly take up the challenge and promise herself that she is in it to win it. But the question is, can Ever beat and outsmart the Bad Boy's game? This isn't your typical Bad boy falls for good girl. This is war between the Bad boy and Good girl.

There was something about him. Or maybe there was something about me. I didn't want him in my life but he ran into it; literally. He liked to hide in trees, irritate me, and read books; despite the fact that it went against his image. He was more than meets the eye. Although at first I didn't want to know more. He lured me in like an unsuspecting moth to an open flame. Knowing the dangers I went in, wanting to know more. It could hurt me but it was too irresistible and I was drawn in. This isn't how the bad boy made me bad or about how I made him good. This is about how we changed each other lives. In good and bad ways. Whatever that means. "I don't bite.... hard." He smirked at me, winking one of his bright hazel eyes at me. It only made me more frustrated. "Yeah but Hunter, if you did you'd probably give me rabies." I rolled my eyes looking back at the book in my hand.

"You and I both know that any girl would kill to be in your position, with me, right now." He smirks, knowing that what he's said is completely and utterly true. Lea Wilson and River Parker don't mix; they don't like the same things, their lives are majorly different. But, what if these two people who are least expected to spend time with each other are doing exactly that? And, not only at school but at home as well. After Lea's house falls apart due to a termite infestation, the Wilson's are invited to stay at an old family friend's mansion of a house. The family friend also happens to be River's father. I'll give you time to digest that information. Yes, you're right.
