Just another Magic Monday He sleepily gets up at six. It is still pitch black outside. Goes to a pool at a nearby school that is kind enough, to let his school swim team use it. He is realizing that no one cares about his sport. He is thinking, "How do we have a million dollar football scoreboard, that the school got out of the general fund and not a pool?" He sits with the others all yawning and longing for their nice warm beds as they are waiting for the bus to bring the kids whose parents could not drive them. "It is ten minutes late again" one of them says, groggy as it finally pulls in. "Knees right" the Coach says and is met with a symphony of groans. He has finished stretching and is getting changed. He walks through the door, the now familiar and longed for smell of chlorine leaps into his nose filling him with comfort. He stands on the edge, staring into the clear water rippling with the early morning light. He leaps in the cool water. It envelopes him in all its silky chloriney goodness. He think, "Today might actually be a good day," as he begins swimming laps. Not aware of how wrong he is.

[Now free to read!] Scott Wilson isn't used to being corrected, and he definitely didn't expect to get his biggest dose of criticism by his coach's daughter - Elle Monroe. ***** When Scott Wilson is drafted to try out for the Marlies hockey team, it's easily the best day of his life. He's cocky and for good reason. He's spent his entire life being told that he's a hockey prodigy and he knows that he's on the path to his destiny. Then Elle Monroe shows up, and throws off his entire plan. Elle - the daughter of his coach - is loud, rude, confident, and gets a special kick out of knocking Scott down a peg or two. Scott doesn't want to accept the help she's offering, but eventually he does, and it turns into a lot more than he was expecting. Scott isn't used to a lot of things, but there's one especially that he's never prepared for: a beautiful, loud girl stealing his jersey every day before their practices.
