PROLOGUE 1 year ago "I can't let you go, not now" I say holding Newt's hand outside the room where they sent the subjects up into the maze. "Your not letting me go (Y/N), your just saying see you soon" Newt says and pulls me into a hug and I start to cry. "I won't remember you. We won't be..." "Hey, we will find each other, I promise. I love you" Newt says and kisses the top of my head. "I love you too" "Newt, it's time to go" Ava says as she stands beside us Newt then kisses me one more time and let's go of my hand and follows Ava. I feel a hand on my shoulder and look up to see my 14 year old brother Thomas and I hug him. "We can watch him everyday (Nickname), he's still with us" Thomas says "But it's not the same. I love him too much to let him go" "I know it's hard, it's hard for me too" We then watch Newt go through the process of being sent up into the maze. Present time: I sit on my bed waiting to be called. It had been one year since I said goodbye to my boyfriend Newt as he was sent up into the maze and now I could see him again, but I wouldn't remember him, nor would he remember me. "You ready?" My big brother asks sitting beside me "I suppose, I'm scared though" I say and he puts an arm around me. "Don't be, Newt will look after you, even if he doesn't remember you" "I know, that's the hard part" "I'll miss you little sis" "I'll miss you too Thomas" I was then called and I then found myself heading through the process of going to the maze.

You wake up in the Glade, just like everyone else did. Except, you're the only girl. You end up becoming friends with almost everyone, and become very close with a few boys. However, one of them catches your eye...and you fall for him. Life is going okay, you have best friends, a boyfriend, and a fun job, but then something happens. Wicked threatens to wipe the gladers memories so they would all forget you. Soon you're separated from everyone, including the boy you love. Will you find him again?

You and Newt are seemingly made for each other, you made it through raw torture together and fought like hell to stay that way. But life rarely plays so fair. This book does not stay 100% true to The Maze Runner plot, but most things are the same. I own only a few characters and settings such as y/n (your name) and Felix. All rights to James Dashner. The writing quality does get better just stick with it :)
