He can't decide his actions. He's doing this involuntarily. He doesn't want to. Their looking at him like a monster. They're scared. They're terrified. But he's bigger than his body. Leo Valdez refuses to take his shirt off. He doesn't like what's underneath. The skinny body. The frail arms. The long scars that cover it all over. It's hard to hide them all the time but he's doing his best. Hopefully the others won't ever see what he's covered in. Hopefully they'll never ask how he got them all. He wasn't sure he could explain just how all those marks got there.
