With Ego gone and the galaxy safe once again, the Guardians venture across the universe to find the biological mother of the youngest member in their team. Along the way, Gamora bumps into a significant figure from her past...

As they were on their way to the warehouse, where they were meeting the dealer, Peter and Gamora heard something different. Something that was familiar and rare at the same time; singing. What was unique about it; the lyrics were in English and it was coming from a little girl with an extremely beautiful voice. A few months after the battle with Ronan, the Guardians are sent on a mission to retrieve a powerful weapon from the hands of a group of Sakaarans. Little do the band of misfits know that the weapon isn't an object, but a young girl who was tortured and created into one. Fearing for the child's safety, Gamora convinces the Guardians to let her stay with them. The only question; can a group of ex-criminals care for a genetically-modified child? The seemingly lost man in the middle of nowhere, on Knowhere (yeah, laugh at that all you want) drew no attention from anyone that passed by, with his disheveled, unclean looks, likely a homeless man. But to Gamora, deadliest woman in the galaxy, something about him drew her in. Like she could sense something within him that nobody else could. Or, Alternatively: Peter is homeless and Gamora takes him in. Bonding ensues. Appearances by the other guardians we know and love but mainly starmora. Oh yeah celestial peter
