Charles Mulock was absolutely dreading his first day of junior year. Not that anyone really wanted to go back to school in the first place, but Charles was nervous of seeing his ex, Dawn, again. They had dated for a few months last year, but then she broke up with him when summer came around because she "wasn't attracted to him", which Charles respected completely, but a part of him was still hurt. He had bene able to avoid her all summer, but now he wouldn't have much of a choice. Or, at least he didn't before he went downstairs and received his mom's "first day of school" present.
