However, her husband had turned up missing shortly after his brother's coronation-turned-tragedy. Then, a year later, he turns up on the face of Midgard, a criminal, traitor, and a forgotten husband. Leaving her home behind, defenseless against enemies, Callisto makes it her mission to see to her husband's consequences, secretly wishing that he will repent of his ways and return as the man she once knew him to be. Meanwhile, on the other side of the nine realms, a once defeated enemy plots revenge upon an unsuspecting Loki, too preoccupied with taking a lecture from his wife and all too unaware of his two biological war-lord brothers.
