It's girls against boys in this epic face-off as secrets are revealed, loyalties are tested, and new bonds are formed. But remember: Only one can remain. Dark Sides is a Role Reversal AU series in which Wu was bitten by the Great Devourer instead of Garmadon. Wu still ends up training Kai, Jay, Zane, and Cole as his students. In response, Sensei Garmadon trains Nya, Pixal, Seliel, and Skylor (all elemental masters), and both sides are pitted against each other.

(TAKES PLACE RIGHT AFTER THE EVENTS OF SEASON 5) After defeating the Preeminent, Nya and the rest of the ninja have come to find that there have been a few ghosts that escaped and turned back to their human form by ways of magic. The famed Master Chen, owner of the most popular Noodle House in Ninjago, has sent mysterious invitations to all known elemental masters living in Ninjago with an announcement of a Tournament of Elements, Wave 2. It also speaks of Garmadon, stating Lloyd's father is alive and in the captivity of Chen. This invitation reaches its way to Zane, Lloyd, Kai, Cole, Nya, and Jay. Suspicious of Chen and only wanting what is best for Ninjago, the ninja have no choice, but to leave for Chen's Island a second time. In this alternate timeline, Garmadon was never bitten by the Great Devourer. But instead, his brother Master Wu, the King of the Underworld, is now devising a plan so he can wield the Weapons of Spinjitzu and rule over Ninjago. He needs the help of four young boys to retrieve the weapons for him. But first he must train them up and teach them his dark ways. (Cover image is my own)

Wu wants the ninja to have some sort of a normal life so he sends them to school in a DIFFERENT REALM! There they try to fit in and even make friends with some of the students of Paris but we all know how emotional the ninja can get especially Kai so what happens when after a small inncident Hawk moth gets suspicous of who the ninja really are (Under severe rewriting)
