Sam is the most promising swordsman among this year’s crop of Paladin trainees...and knows it. Brash, cocky, and unbeatable with a sword (well, almost), Sam is the kingdom of Thule’s best hope against the violence wrought by demons. The only problem is that Sam is really Lady Samantha, daughter of the seventeenth Duke of Haywood, and if her father has his way, she’ll be marrying a Paladin, not becoming one. But Sam has never held much interest in playing damsel-in-distress, and so she rescues herself from a lifetime of boredom and matrimonial drudgery. Pity that Tristan Lyons, the Paladin assigned to train her, is none other than the hero of her childhood. He hasn’t recognized her as Lady Samantha--yet-- but if he does, he’ll take away her sword and send her packing. Sam is not the only trainee hiding secrets: Braeden is a half-demon with a dark past that might be unforgivable. Sam, Braeden and Tristan set out for the western coast, charged with rooting out an infestation of demons that has made the West unlivable. As they travel, they uncover a deep-seated corruption of power that threatens to derail everything they stand for. Rebellion stirs, led by a rival faction of warriors who tempt Sam to join them with an irresistible offer. A war between men is coming, and Sam must pick a side. Will saving the kingdom cost her life -- or just her heart? Reminiscent of Mulan, but with a medieval fantasy twist, Paladin is a tale of adventure, action, and romance.

"There's a war going on, Katarina," he hissed into my ear. "Remember which side you're on. And know that neither is the right one." This world was built on power, lies and corruption. Our hands were always stained with blood. Our eyes were windows to the soul - but as we had no souls - they were completely empty. We're fated to just be pawns in a war: soldier, healer, leader... destroyer. Pray you're not the last one. You're dead if you're the last one. Katarina Arrowglass is seventeen, can see the futures of most people around her and has the damning legacy of being the next leader of the Light: a position that will pass from her father to her. But knowing every dirty secret and possible future of all those around her makes her wonder: what kind of place would she really be leading? The training tasks mould you into the weapon you'll become for the Light against the Shadow. Find your way through the maze and hope you remember the skills that will get you out of there alive. Fight with your friends - and hope that when your back's turned to them, you won't be stabbed. Survive. Just survive. Her partner in training is Ryder Stellaire and the same as her: leaders for parents, bright future ahead and enough suspicion to last a lifetime. The same - and yet not completely. Just as she's hiding growing fears, he's got his own secrets and soon enough, she'll uncover them all. She just doesn't know if she wants to. Anyone can look good. But don't pay attention to appearance. Because inside, you know what you'll find. Because in this book, everybody's bad. Readers... don't get too attached.

[This is a spin-off of The DILF but can be read as a stand-alone] [The story you are about to read is intended for readers age 18+ due to its sexual content and language. It may not be appropriate for all audiences. Please read at your own discretion.] There was nothing Ophelia wanted better than to gouge Nikolai's long-lashed, consuming blue eyes out with a butter knife and mail them to the rest of the Alvonich family. Too bad they were in a very public, very esteemed place - Mikhail's wedding. "You don't think I'll press the button?" Nikolai's breath was warm and teasing in her ear. Ophelia had no idea what possessed her to take up his challenge of a vibrating thong, except that it was too late to back out now. She turned to glance at the infuriating man beside her. "Honestly, I don't care. It won't affect me." "Sweet Ophelia," he whispered, surprising her by flicking his tongue into her ear. Jumping, she glared at him, ignoring the important guests at her table, her father included. Before she could curse at Nikolai, he pressed the button, the swearwords turning to soft moans under her breath. Gripping the edge of the table, Ophelia felt the attack on her cl!t like a burn to her skin. Her father shot her a concerned look from across the table and Nikolai's voice was again in her ear. "Before the end of the night, Ophelia, we will f**k," he promised, releasing his finger from the remote control. "Only this time, it will be my name you scream."

"One mustn't linger upon the past for too long, lest one becomes consumed by their own sorrow and festers into nonexistence once more." Throughout her lifetime, Samira has had many names, she lived a life of seclusion, away from the rest of her kind. Living amongst mortals for over five hundred years (not in the same place though) has caused her to feel no anger nor hatred toward humanity; rather pity and a motive to protect them as though they were her own children. Do not misunderstand her, throughout her existence she has killed many men, women and yes, even children. She feels pain when she commits such sins, but can't satiate her hunger for their sweet crimson wine. She is amazed by them. She is afraid of them. She is confused by their actions. However, she admires them for their many uses. For some strange reason, everything has come crashing down upon her like the Roman empire once did many years before her time. She's looking to one man to assist her, but the problem is, this man holds a grudge against her for a crime she committed against him nearly five centuries earlier. Ancient enemies, old and new friends and new foes---a dangerous quartet for a vampire who has wretched luck with such relationships. Where does Samira's origin lie? Where does the vampiric origin begin in this twisted tale of fate? What is the role that a swarthy man, by the name of Ulric, will play when it comes to her life? Strange occurrences surround Samira, beginning all with an encounter with a flawless small girl in an alleyway. (*IMPORTANT NOTE* This story has yet to be edited past the first chapter; however, it is still readable---the flow is slightly off and a bit awkward.)

Leader of the Zea Pyrates, Imelda Alvidrez wreaks havoc among the rich and takes from the weak. She's far from the average Robin Hood, that's for sure. With a crew of more than a hundred women and men, she dominates Navy ships, takes their exports and pawns them for money. Her crew is fearless for she doesn't recruit pansies. Her strategies never fail until one raid led her to Balthazar Sultan ... Charming, sensual, and completely irritating, she unwillingly adopts him onto her ship. But, when the Navy takes action to eliminate the Pyrate race, her attention is turned elsewhere. Pyrates, or Navy? Only one shall rule the waters -- even if the seas run red with their blood. The seven seas aren't big enough for both of them, after all. (Thank you, @brittonshay, for making the lovely cover!)

May Fredericks hates New York. Which is fair enough, since New York seems to hate her back. Just weeks after moving from Wisconsin to Manhattan, she receives the world's worst marriage proposal, stabs her boyfriend with a shrimp fork in a very public venue, and accidentally becomes notorious. And that’s before she gets mugged. At her wit's end, May washes up at a Packers bar in Greenwich Village, where she meets a surly, unhelpful guy who hates her shoes and calls her ex a douche. His name is Ben. He used to be a chef. Now he's a rooftop beekeeper with anger management issues. She wouldn't even like him, but he reminds her of home … and he knows where to find all the best food in the Village. She makes him laugh. He buys her tacos and cowboy boots.
