Choir was her get away from the crazy world, like the fact that her mother had just been set to an asylum for the mentally unstable, leaving her with her dad who didn't even know how to make boxed mac & cheese. Choir was going to be the best thing about this year, at least until she met Lucca Pierce. Or, I should say, re-met. First year of high school! Lucca's family had just moved back to Ellensburg after the death of the aunt he never met. Though Lucca had low hopes for the school year, he was excited for one thing: choir. Resuming his spot as a tenor. A new start in the town he was born in. But a new start wasn't exactly what he got when Lucca met Emeline Dawson. Or, re-met her.
