With over 200 poems saved on my computer, I've decided to put together a short book that details all the sad & depressed moments of my life. From the heart breaks to a failed attempted suicide. It took me roughly 3 years to complete this narrative but now that it's finally finished, I want to share it with other writers & others' who love to read true stories.

Predators aren't supposed to devote themselves to others. That's how you become prey. - - - - - - LILITH ORTIZ She's not typical She's not afraid to speak her mind, she'll bark and sure will bite. Her taunting past just a breath away as she discovers more and more about just how deep her roots lie. Her childhood disappeared when she was faced with something a grown man couldn't handle. He compelled her to devote herself to him, to bow at his command, to bark when needed and sit when ordered. He held her in his grip, shattering what was left of the pure soul, reconstructing the girl to his liking, not that it fixed the broken. But the irony is that broken things aren't fragile. MALACHAI DEAVY He carries himself with power He's as mysterious as the scars he wears from his past battles. You fear him because he is the psychotic bastard you hear of on the news, or the bloody mess you wake up to, just down the road. Getting violent and dirty doesn't bother the egoistic asshole as he gets what he wants- not that it's always what people expect. He finds himself showing more than a spark of interest in the impressive girl (not that he'd ever admit it) he met under... unusual circumstances. Yet, a broken past lies beneath his heart. - Could he possibly be the one to peel down her walls? Could she possibly be the one to heal him? Even after everything that they've discovered? After all the twisted events?
