Dan Howell is a new student at the most prestigious preparatory school in England. Phil Lester is the bad boy, often referred to as The Boy From The North. No one knows much about him except that. Dan falls head over heels for Phil even though people say to stay away from him. Dan tries to befriend Phil, but Phil pushes him away while also bullying Dan for being different. Will Phil ever open up and be nice? Or will Dan's world come crashing down?

Dan has a crush on his idol, Phil. He wishes he could have a chance with him. He wishes he could have a chance with anyone, except that he has a condition making it hard to control his emotions, leading to random outbursts that he gets, A LOT.
