Adeline Stargate is more than happy to immerse herself in her senior year of high school with her new group of friends and her childhood-best-friend-turned-boyfriend, Jax Inkrose. No more toxic friends. No more gaslighting. No more manipulation. And no more hate letters. At least not with her current friends. When Adeline's former "friends" decide they don't want her out of their lives quite yet, she finds herself spiraling into the emotional turmoil of the past three years. Jax wants nothing more than to make all Adeline's problems go away, but when the problems become more intense and Adeline falls back on bad habits, he's forced to think about what a true friend would do. More importantly, he's forced to come to terms with whether he's a true friend himself.

Another year, another three letters to write and never send. Since freshman year, Adeline Stargate has made it a tradition to write letters to each of her three friends telling them what she hated the most about them that school year. After her junior year, she decides this is a tradition that needs to end and is set on burning all nine letters at the end-of-the-year bonfire. But when one of her friends happens to find one of the letters and reads it, her plans - and friendships - are ruined. Or at least changed. Jax Inkrose, an old childhood friend, decides to turn this into a night to reconnect and share secrets. For each letter Adeline reads to him, he'll share his own secret. Nine secrets for nine letters. Seems fair. But as the night goes on, Adeline realizes there are some secrets she's even hidden from herself and isn't too sure that she wants Jax to know about them. Or herself for that matter.

[BOOK TWO OF The Vampire and The Ghost Series] Hell, it turns out, wasn't half as bad as it seemed. It wasn't half as bad as earth. As being human, Annalise would come to find out. Having been thrust down under, quite literally, by her new found Auntie. Annalise spends a year in hell. When she comes back to meet Eugene, just like they had promised, every things changed. The world is different. People are gone. Friends have moved on. And Eugene. Gene is broken. And there's a new type of monster on the horizon. Her own father. In the midst of a new age war, Annalise has to fight, not only to save Supernaturals and their kind. But to save Eugene. From himself. Eugene was willing to wait for her, the one person who meant the most to him, throughout his long life. But, in the end, life rarely ends up the way we want it to. And certainly not for him. At the face of a new war, and head of a recently re-formed Modesto Clan, Eugene finds it hard not to crumble under the weight of it all. Then she comes back. Bringing change in her wake. And just like before, nothing is quite the same anymore. In lieu of Vitus' death, Armarous has taken his place, leading the rogue supernaturals against humans. Finishing what Vitus started. Love, blood and war. Will Eugene and Annalise be able to reconcile their feelings for each other amongst the battlefield? Or will something, deeper, darker, take over? Eugene is a monster. But thankfully, Annalise is too. -------- (Updates Weekly, unless otherwise said)

Daeva doesn't remember being human. But what she does remember is the torture she endured in her first days as a God under the hands of the Elysians, seven celestial beings from another dimension who took over the universe after a bloody war. After years of running away from their influence and killing everyone who stood in her way, fate compels her to go back to Otherworld, the former home of the Gods and the site of her torture. There, the enigmatic Nyx and her servant, Matthius, entice her to play a game on the Board, a magical instrument that would give her control over civilizations, by granting her heart's truest wish. The catch? She needs to confront all seven of her tormentors. Will Daeva finally get her revenge against those that have hurt her? Or will she be just another chess piece in someone else's game? I've re-written and changed this blurb at least 8 times. This is my favourite story, it was a labour of love. It's hard story to categorize, to slot into one particular genre. Yes, it is a time travel story, a BL romance, history and magic thrown in to make things more interesting. The ML grows on you, even the annoying puff of smoke becomes endearing. It is written as a journal, so the ML only knows what you know as he writes each chapter. Tim never foresaw where the events were leading him....so far from home, in place and time. He never knew he could live such a BIG life. Never dreamt that he always had one foot in today and the other in...eternity. So just start reading and see where it takes you. Smithy.

*A reverse-harem fantasy romance* The female decline was swift. Birth rates dropped at an alarming rate, and within years, men across all realms grew restless and aggressive. Their desperation led to women being collected at birth and sold at auction, and humans gradually became one of the most sought after. Parents began hiding their daughters, birthing and stowing their females underground in a desperate attempt to keep them safe. Charlotte is one of them. Hidden from the men who would tear her family apart to get to her, she's accepted that she'll live her entire life within the thick walls of her childhood home. When the human government permits a large-scale raid, Charlotte is one of the unlucky women caught. Forced out of hiding and thrown into the home of three powerful demons, Charlotte must learn how to stay alive in a world she's only experienced through stories from her parents.

The characters are highly complex and they exist in a world that values strength over compassion, only the strong survive. The life inside the pack mimics that of a real wolf pack with a strict hierarchy that is established through fighting and power. It is also comparable to a medieval court, the king holds his divine right to rule and the queen exists solely to please and support the king. Throw in scheming courtiers with the ability to change into wolves with sharp claws and fangs and you have the pack construct. As the characters are basically wolves housed in a human skin and the story is laced with animalistic references and traits displayed by all. We first meet the main characters Meela and Grey it is on a bloody battlefield where they recognize each other as their soul mate, and Grey takes Meela as tribute for his pack's help in her brother's fight. From this point on Meela belongs to Grey, and in this world, a highly spirited female with a propensity for impulsive actions matched to a dog stubborn, self-assured, dominant male is going to cause problems. We follow Meela in her journey to become the pack's Luna, a pack who are even more wolf than the one she comes from, and with a mate who has set the highest standards for her to reach as his Luna(female Alpha) and will accept nothing less than perfection. In the midst of all this and the struggle they face to form a personal and public relationship, there is one incident that will change them both and the fate of the pack completely. From that point on both Meela and Grey are inevitably changed and for them to be together, either one or both needs to change, but when you live in a world where you are taught that weakness is easily exploited and to admit defeat can potentially lead to your destruction. Thank you @chortle for the great summary

Ayn is a witch with healing powers. Shapeshifters have killed her parents and the only animals she cannot speak with are wolves. When she graduates from the Teaching Clan and finds out that she has to cross the River and live in the Wolves' Mountains for one year, she is less than amused. Kari, first-born shapeshifter Alpha, almost lost his wolf after the death of his mate. He could rise again and become the pack leader if only he would complete his training ...and find another suitable Luna. When he realizes that his second chance is his mother's guest, a daydreaming stubborn witch from across the River, he is less than amused. The bond may be a strong force, but can a witch walk the Wolves' Way and face the dangers it is paved with? **** "I need to stop..." I sigh, catching her wrist before her fingers reach the back of my neck, and I untangle her arm from me. She lingers on the recliner but now there is a big gap between our bodies. The warmth she left on my skin is quickly dissipating in the spring night. "Fine." Ayn stands and searches my eyes. Her scowl has my wolf whimper in submission and makes me curse my self-imposed hard line. "I am going to need your hoodie," she orders, stretching her hand out to me. "What?" I exclaim, briefly shocked by both the tone and the content of her words. My hands however are already executing her command, unzipping my jacket. "The last time I was able to sleep, I was covered with your hoodie. Your scent is comforting." She states it plainly as if it would be an obvious and broadly known fact. Like the Earth being round. Like two being a prime number. #1 in Healer - December 2021 #7 in Lycan - December 2022 ~95 000 words Cover photo by Jr Korpa via Unsplash Cover photo by Marc-Olivier Jodoin via Unsplash hi
