"What are doing there?" She asked trying start a conversation. It was funny that she knew what I was doing but still asked. "What does it look like I'm doing?" I said trying to sound sarcastic instead of humorous. I looked back down at my book satisfied of they way she already looked defeated, I hoped she'd just leave though it was becoming hard to keep in what I knew.
"Tell me something will you? Did you ever have a sister?" She said carefully. Just like I thought. I knew that was what she was here for. I tried my hardest to look surprised, "What no! I have never had a sister. What makes you ever think I had a sister?"
"Oh, I'm sorry...I just thought that girl on the TV this morning was your sister." Kate sputtered. It took everything I could to not laugh at the reaction she gave. It was quite funny because she knew if she pushed it she would not get any of her stupid questions answered. Not like I would even answer them anyway, I may just give a go around answer.
"Well can you...um...tell me about your family?" She said wearly. She looked so kind and seemed like she wanted to help me, maybe if I gave her one answer to maybe one question? No. No I would not. I was given instructions, and I would not fail. I could not risk it.
