Hope Mikaelson and Josie Saltzman attend the Salvatore school together. The two of them are best friends. They become closer after Landon dies to save the world from malivore. Hope soon finds out big (unexpected) news that will impact her life. After everyone learns the news, Josie and her twin sister Lizzie are there to comfort Hope. Hope and Josie's friendship starts to grow into something more.

Josie Saltzman's life is in danger. Her father, Mr. Saltzman hired a bodyguard to protect her. But she hates being watched, so she does everything she could to make her quit. When the time comes, will the bodyguard be able to save her? But of course no one knows that but Hope and Dr. Saltzman, because Hope doesn't want the rest of the school to be even more scared of since she's a Mikaelson. Contains imprinting, and claiming.
