Swinging the staff round to his ribs, not giving him time to strike, I swung and swung, dodging his daggers. Swinging my staff round I smashed his head, causing him to go flying, before I could come back from the power It took to deliver the blow he leaped up. His dagger sliced my side, leaving yet another future scar. Without flinching I grabbed his arm and twisted, snatching up his dagger I threw him to the ground. Falling on top of him I held the dagger to his throat, purring in his ear. I looked into his eyes, instantly feeling a spark. My mouth tugged up in a smile, I knew then that my next move would change my life.
