(COMPLETED) Giyuu is worried. All her life, Shinobu has been searching for her sister's killer. A certain Upper Moon 2. Douma. However, her madness escalates to the point of pushing everyone she loves away, including him. Everything falls apart once she stares face-to-face with Douma himself. As a person that has experienced loss more than once, he does everything he can to pull her out of her own insanity. He couldn't let her end up like him. Emotionless, alone, and most of all, empty.

Although she may have reeked of cynicism and anger, one man in the Demon Slayer Corps was able to change that. This is the story about how the Water PIllar was able to make the Insect Pillar fall head over heels for him. This is an alternate universe where Kanae Kocho is never killed by Upper Moon 2, Doma, but instead by a different weaker demon which means Shinobu no longer had to sacrifice herself for revenge.
