With a Nerve Gear, a virtual reality helmet that stimulates the user's five senses via their brain, players can experience and control their in-game characters with their minds. On November 6, 2022, the players log into SAO for the first time, and later discover that they are unable to log out. All Celestial Wizards have keys, right? Wrong. Well in this case it is. Mia Nakamura is a celestial wizard but instead of keys she has a gold bracelet and she collects small gems for different spirits. But the spirits she has are from a realm called the Spirit Dimension B. Like spirits from the known dimension they all have different magic and personalities. And like how keys have gold as the Zodiac Keys and Silver has, the spirits of the B dimension have Diamond and Ruby gems. Diamond gems have 12 Zodiac signs, but the year signs. The Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig are these 12 Zodiacs. Mia has 5 of them. The Ruby Gems? They are basically the Silver Keys but they are different spirits. Mia has 3 of these. One day she happens to stumble upon one particular guild.
