The eighth year was proving to be increasingly tedious and the promise of a new Yule Ball was once again making Harry nervous. Christmas Eve was coming fast and he was looking for a date again. It didn't help that the only person he wanted to go with didn't seem to have the same interest -and most probably hated his guts.

When the seventh years are invited back for an eighth year, Hermione is the only one of her friend group who accepts. She has a choice to make. Spend the year alone, or become friends with someone she used to hate. Much to her surprise, he has changed. So much so that she decides to stay so that he won't be alone for Christmas.

In which Harry Potter has twenty-five days to gather the courage to tell Draco Malfoy he loves him. This, of course, includes all of the cheesiest, cutest tropes I can put in, including Truth or Dare, mittens, pink noses from the cold, snowflakes, walks in Hogsmeade in the snow, snowball fights, and, of course, enchanted mistletoe.

Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy had both been assigned the tasks of putting up their house's Christmas decorations, and coincidentally, on the same day, whereas the people of other houses wouldn't be putting their's up until tomorrow.
