It was looking like a normal day for the intelligence unit of the 21st district, but a school shooting happens that leads them to uncover the dark secrets and past of a young teenage girl.

It's been a year since Lizzie showed up, Hailey and Vanessa got a new place despite Lizzie saying that she was fine sleeping on the couch. Hailey and Jay were already close during that year but after the Bruce Griffin's case closed, Jay came by Hailey and Vanessa's place bringing dinner more often than before, and after every case the intelligence unit would close Hailey and Jay would always end up doing their "thing" which made their "partnership" grow more and more as the cases close and the days past.
