In the middle of the night, Newt shows up at the Safe Haven. Everyone accepts him with open hearts and arms- except for one person in particular. Newt is a reserved small boy who's rich British accent draws attention away from his noticeable limp. Thomas is a confident star athlete on the track team who also excels academically.
