Loki though is not so easily broken. He might not have magic nor supernatural strenght. But he still has his wits, his gift of deception, his knowledge and basic skills as a fighter. And he is not ready to just lay down and admit defeat. He is ready to do what it takes to rise ones again and handle the incoming threat from the void.

Loki has served his punishment. Well most of his punishment and had been sent to earth. No one is not really sure whether Loki has changed or not. However, the outcome is something no one had suspected.

Rewritten Worthy I've decided to turn this into a three parter considering I can not focus on one at a time. Time lapsed from events in Thor into Avengers with an alternate timeline. Loki believed his actions were justified in the beginning. if you see him as the protagonist in his own story you can't help but feel bad for him. What was he supposed to do in his situation. He handled it like a king would, not that it made his actions justified. Deep down he wanted to prove himself to Odin. In the end the truth hurt, denied by his foster father and haven slayed his true father. He knew he could never be one of them. So he fell to oblivion, there was no erasing who he really was. Loki didn't ask to be saved. He refused to be a puppet, but that was short lived. They tortured him and exploiting his weaknesses. It would only be a matter of time before that monster forced him to pursue the cube.

Loki is brought back to Asgard after the attack on New York and sentenced to solitary confinement to think about what he's done. Maybe after all this time he has just been misunderstood? What really happened to make him want to attack New York in the first place? No one understood him, misread all his intentions up until he was nearly gone. Could that damage ever be undone?

This is a sequel to my previous story, Shadows and Lies Loki's only option was to escape to earth. After trying time and time again to pay his dues on Asgard, it's made clear that the people won't stop until they have his head. Following right on the heels of Shadows and Lies, this story will follow Loki as he escapes to earth and learns to acclimate to a very different life there
