It mostly follows the real time line, but not completely (ie. concert dates/locations don't always reflect the real ones). Some of the characters are based on real people. Dude, it would be awesome to know them personally but I don't, so their role in this narrative is fictional. While the events are fictious, some elements here and there in the story are inspired by things the characters (mostly Alex and Miles) said/did in interviews or shows.
