Which was why he was currently walking to George's house, two backstage concert tickets tucked away safely, swearing to hold this over George's head forevermore. If only he could have know the chaos that would ensue.

After a joke becomes a reality, George becomes an American citizen in a way he never thought he would: by marrying his best friend. It wasn't a big deal. The plan was that they'd get married, go through the whole citizenship process, and get George his green card. After that, they'd file for a divorce and it'd be like it never happened. However, their plan and their reality don't quite line up when their feelings begin to get involved.
