Jeramey Valeska is the daughter of a snake-dancer Lila Valeska and blind fortune teller Paul Cicero. Born and raised at Haly's Circus, Her older brother Jerome suffered a psychotic break at the age of 19 and murdered their mother which lead to his arrest and incarnation at Arkham Asylum. Following a breakout with other inmates by Theo Galavan he searched for his sister so he can get her to be as bad as he is and he became the leader of The Maniax group who brought terror upon the city. This lead to his betrayal and murder at Galavan's hands which lead to Jeramey to be on the edge of insanity, but if it wasn't for him.. Jim Gordon who took her under his wing treating her like his very own then she wouldn't have the will to fight back and live her new adventure filled life.
