Pois é, desde que Ace entrou na tripulação do Barba Branca os dois se tornaram quase como irmãos e com o tempo Marco percebeu que não era só um sentimento de amigos, ele era apaixonado pelo Ace e agora que ele estava morto, um dos arrependimentos que mais assombravam marco foi não ter se confessado quando ainda podia, por medo de ser rejeitado e acabar a amizade que ele tanto amava. Um dia sentado na frente de sua casa a noite, enquanto olhava as estrelas Marco fez um pedido bobo junto de uma promessa idiota quando passou por algum acaso uma estrela cadente "eu queria que ele voltasse.
