Stiles moves into a new apartment and to begin with, things are great. He even tries to befriend his grumpy neighbour who makes a lot of noise at night. But when things begin to break, he finds out why the seemingly nice place was so cheap. AU, no werewolves.

Stiles stayed back home, while everyone else went off to college , planning on becoming a cop like his dad, pretty much worked on a lot of the cases already, especially recently. Shit starts happening again and since Scott and the rest of the pack are out of town he has to resort to going to the one of the only werewolves left in town, Derek, cause Peter was definitely out of the question. As the unlikely duo try and figure out what's going on in their town their lives become more entangled then they ever imagined. What started as a temporary friendship develops into so much more, and they don't really even know how to define what's happening, just that neither of them mind it all that much. *They are out of High School but it takes place after the events of the fourth season. Stiles drags Scott into the woods to look for a body where he just manages to avoid being caught. He finds his friend getting attacked and bitten by a giant wolf and rushes to help only to get bit too. Stiles finds himself fascinated about becoming werewolves while Scott just wants to get his normal life back. But when Scott falls in love with the new girl Allison Argent, who comes from a family of werewolf hunters, Stiles isn't so excited. Then there's Derek Hale, a werewolf that seems quite shady but they just might need his help to stop what is killing people in town. Or, rather who. Derek has started to build his pack while the Argents have declared war against all werewolves. Scott and Stiles move to keep Derek's pack in line but Stiles also prepares to face against the Argents while Scott focuses on sneaking around with Allison without them knowing. Whenever Stiles brings out his new blue eyes, Scott flinches and looks away.
