ENG: Sometimes Aether and Xiao's feelings for each other became confused. Sometimes they were just battle buddies protecting Liyue's people, other times they just wanted to forget that the rest of the world existed and stay together. But the fear of exposing their hearts was so strong as to simply silence their feelings and continue as if they felt nothing for each other. And when the fear of protecting your heart is too high and you fear that the other person will find out what you think of them, you end up doing your best to push them away and make them think that you feel the opposite for them. Even if that includes hurting them in the process. And sometimes that damage is so deep that it ends up being irreparable.
