The story revolves around Anirudh of 21 years age, a London returned barrister who is forced to marry Bondita Das of 12 years age to save her from Sati ritual and also from a wicked groom Chandrachur who disguised as an old man with an intention and lust to marry her. How will their life turns is the rest of the story.

As they say, a hot iron is able to cut a cold iron. In the same way, in that era, one evil practice was held, in order to withstand another evil custom. How will Anirudh's and Bondita's relationship turn out to be, when it comes out of the whirpool of society's customs and prctices? The story from the era of 1920s, tells us about Anirudh Roy Chaudhury, a gold medalist barrister, who returns to India from London to change his country's situation, and his wife Bondita Roy Chaudhury, who, with help of Anirudh, becomes a barrister and accompanies him in changing the society. Bondita, a former child bride, becomes a barrister with the support of her progressive husband, Anirudh. Educated and empowered, she takes on social evils while also tackling obstacles in her personal life.

Leap years later Bondita is 18 now and Anirudh is 28

This is a fan fiction story based on Indian tv series "Barrister babu " aired on Colors tv. This piece of mine is based on the post leap story and timeline goes around late 1920s and early 1930s. On this story Anirudh and Bondita are newly married couple. As the Roy Chowdhuries of Tulsipur takes the Taluq of Gourbagan into their Zamindari jurisdiction the Chatterjee's, a marchant class family there establishes family relations with Roy Chowdhuries by marrying off their daughter with Somnath as a strategic move. But the girl, who lost her dreams with her father's demise was not happy with the marriage. They married her off without even enquiring about the family. But after marriage Sohini, Somnath's wife feels this is the best if destiny God has written on her fate. Anidita soon visits Gourbagan and engages in a fight to elimite the social evils there taking Sohini by their side.
