i wrote these pieces a long time ago-during a chapter of my life when my heart knew only one name and my mind carried only one person. these proses/elegies are fragments of emotions i once struggled to put into words: the joy of loving someone for the first time, the confusion of unanswered questions, the ache of longing, and the quiet grief of letting go.
every page in this collection was born from a younger version of myself-a version that loved deeply, hoped endlessly, and learned painful lessons along the way. some of these words were written on sleepless nights, while others were written in moments when my heart felt too heavy to carry its own emotions.
this is not a story of bitterness, nor is it a plea to return to the past. it is simply a record of what once was. a collection of memories preserved in ink, dedicated to the person who became my first love and, unknowingly, my first heartbreak.
time has passed since these words were written. the wounds have healed, the tears have dried, and the questions that once haunted me no longer keep me awake at night. i have moved on, found peace, and learned that not every love is meant to stay forever. some people enter our lives not to become our future, but to become a lesson, a memory, or a chapter that helps us grow.
so if you find sadness within these pages, know that it belongs to the person i was, not the person i am today. i no longer write from a place of pain, but from a place of gratitude-for the experience, for the memories, and for the version of myself that survived it all.
this compilation is dedicated to my first love, not because i still belong to the past, but because the past once belonged to me.
