Selene Snape can say for sure that her life is pretty boring, a little unhappy too. After all, she suffered from pranks that were played on her and mean comments from time to time, these being courtesies of the Marauders. A group of annoying boys, who made Selene's life be hell one of their missions in life. Over the years, it had diminished, but she still couldn't be left alone. In fact, the only one of the boys who seemed to feel sorry for the situation was Remus Lupin. Lupin and Selene weren't friends, far from it really, but they ignored each other and even respected each other in a way. However, all this will end up changing with the new project that the school has proposed. Who knew that all Selene Snape and Remus Lupin needed to start talking to each other would be a baby?

She was in his office by the fireplace, something that had been a common occurrence the year before. They were sharing a single mug of hot chocolate, passing it back and forth between the two of them, fingers brushing now and again. In a flash, they were both reading their own books, Emmeline sat beside him, her legs draped over his lap as she leaned against the arm of his worn sofa. Again the image of his dream changed.
