Ryujin and Yeji are both in love- but not with each other. Ryujin, the team's rising rookie star, has her heart set on Lia, the school's golden girl and head cheerleader. Yeji, the no-nonsense manager of the school's basketball team, has been quietly in love with her childhood best friend, the team captain, Chaeryeong. But the cruel twist? Chaeryeong and Lia are in love with each other. Caught in a web of one-sided love and longing, Ryujin and Yeji find themselves drifting closer, not out of romance, but out of shared pain. ~ "You can think of me as Lia, and I'll think of you as Chaeryeong," Yeji says quietly, eyes locked on Ryujin. Shin Ryujin, and her rival, Hwang Yeji, are both celebrities. Already a few years into the industry, each is well-known, but both hoped to gain an even bigger audience for their careers and further recognition. One day, Yeji's past high school drama teacher recommended an acting role she heard of recently. Once word was leaked out about this, Ryujin decided that she could pick up on her old acting habits. Ironically, both women somehow ended up auditioning for the same movie, not to mention obtaining the main roles. Too competitive to back down, these two found themselves playing as lovers, faking a romantic relationship for the camera, and behind the scenes is quite different than what's on-screen- well it was until both started to question what's pretend and what isn't.
