Being marked is a curse. Being a Riorson? A death sentence. Verena Riorson-sister to Xaden Riorson, daughter of Fen Riorson, the kingdom's most hated traitor-wasn't raised, she was reforged. Life didn't just shove her down-it beat her bloody and taught her to crawl in silence. Mercy? That word died the day her father did. After the execution, she wasn't fostered with a kind family like the others. No, the kingdom handed her over to the Velmires-a family that worshipped loyalty and burned hatred into the bones of every Marked child they touched. They didn't just punish her for her bloodline. They broke her for it. Rebuilt her into a weapon so sharp, even the gods would flinch. She begged once. Covered in blood, trembling on her knees, she whispered for mercy. The Velmires taught her what a mistake that was. She never asked again. Now she wears her scars like armor. Each mark carved into her back is proof that she survived the kind of hell no one walked out of whole. And Xaden? Her beloved older brother? He never came. Never searched. Never cared. Not until it was too late. The little sister he remembered-the kind-hearted, bright-eyed girl who clung to his hand-is long dead. In her place stands something else. Something colder. Stronger. Unforgiving. She's done hiding the monster they created. Done pretending the fire inside her wasn't born to burn kingdoms down. Verena Riorson has come to remind them all why they should've killed her when they had the chance. And gods help the ones who ever thought they broke her-because now? She's the storm they'll never survive.

They tried to break her. Torture her. Kill her. Instead, they forged her into a weapon. Now Eleanor Riorson-Tavis, Queen of Orlyth, wages war not only against the Venin, but against Navarre and the very gods themselves. The Balance is fractured, magic is unraveling, and with the Shadewing Den reborn, her name has become prophecy and curse alike. With Garrick at her side, Noodle in her shadow, and Nox and Chradh above, Eleanor has built an empire of monsters-and she will tear the world apart piece by piece to protect what remains of her family. Her kill count climbs. Her mercy burns to ash. Her humanity slips further from reach with every battlefield she leaves empty. But victory comes at a cost. And the deeper she walks into madness, the clearer it becomes: this was never just war. It is a reckoning. It is the endgame. Because Eleanor isn't fighting to save the world anymore. She's fighting to remake it. And when the dust settles, history won't call her hero or villain. It will call her what she has always been: Oblivion.

What if Rhysand had a child with Amarantha while he was imprisoned Under the Mountain? (One he never knew about..?) There is desire in the familiar ache of agony. There is a sort of comfort in spilled blood that drip from walls. Cathyrena pressed the magenta lipstick to her Mother's lips. Watching the brush stain pale skin and dress up a monster in angel clothing. Her jewels shimmered and shined with a type of mocking cruelty. There is a moment where she wonders what color Amarantha would bleed if she were to stab her in the eye. That night, the same violet dress Cathyrena matched her lips with laid in the empty bedroom floor. It's star-like gems still intact. The bed covers wrinkled and pillows thrown. Amarantha liked to have Rhysand in the brightest of Night when the Moon was full. She picked up the fabric softly. She had noticed the High Lord of Night scent mixed with her Mother's. Her indigo eyes flickered back to the mattress where he was raped. She wondered if he liked the dress. Cathyrena has all the worst traits of her parents. Darkness and Murder. But, what if she inherited all their best ones too? Its a shame Amarantha doesn't have any.

Five years ago, she fled with a secret-the son Rhysand never knew existed. She built a quiet, hidden life... until the day her little boy runs straight into the arms of the High Lord she swore she'd never face again. One look at the child with his violet eyes, and Rhysand knows the truth. Dragged back into each other's orbit, old wounds reopen-lies, heartbreak, fear, and the pull between them that never died. Rhys is determined to earn a place in his child's life-and in hers, no matter how many years were stolen from him. A story of second chances, stolen years, found family, and a love stubborn enough to survive fate itself-if she's brave enough to claim it.

Isn't it just so pretty to think all along there was some invisible string tying you to me? She was the heart of the Inner Circle-sunlight wrapped in quiet strength, always steady, always kind. But not his. Never his. At least, that's what Azriel told himself the moment the bond snapped into place... and he said nothing. He watched from the shadows, loving her silently, convinced he was too broken to be chosen. She kept smiling, kept hoping, never knowing why the male who always showed up was the same one who always pulled away. A story of two hearts quietly breaking beside each other... until one day, they didn't. One single thread of gold tied me to you.
