It was first discovered in Scholastic's book flyers in the end of August to the beginning of September 2019, and was officially confirmed by Michael Huang[1] and Satomi Hinatsu[2] on the same day. The book was written by Satomi, Cary Huang, and a Scholastic employee. It is currently not available outside of the United States and is only available in English and Spanish.

This book was a mistake. Really Hecking Terrible BFDI Stories is just your average "crackbook" filled with poorly made Microsoft Paint comics and chapters that are "meticulously crafted" to make young and impressionable 10 year old minds laugh out loud. This book involves very odd scenarios based around the popular(?) 2010s show, Battle For Dream Island (more commonly known as BFDI, BFDIA, IDFB, and recently, BFB) ,which is basically a Survivor or Total Drama Island type of show with objects as the characters/contestants. Before you read I have a strict policy against people who repeatedly use the common internet phrase "XD", use of this phrase will result in a chapter dedicated to scolding you for your redundant vocabulary. Another note before you read, this book has quite a bit of offensive humor, sexual innuendo, and other things that are not suitable for people under the age of 10, please read at your own risk. IDFB... one of BFDI's greatest mysteries. Have you ever noticed how in BFB, it's barely ever mentioned? The only reference to it is one mention of the wall teleporter, and the word "Yoyle" is never even said - with the exception of the occasional catchphrase of "Yoylecake!" Not to mention that in the short Paper Towel, the Yoyle Needy is visible behind Yoyle Mountain, yet it's completely gone in BFB. It's almost like the contestants don't WANT to talk about it... what in the world happened?!
