After Steve, Nancy, Robin, and Eddie escape from the upside down, they seek refuge from the police in a small motel outside Hawkins. Steve deals with conflicting feelings about Eddie on a journey of finding out who he is, and Eddie might fall for him in return. Can the two boys navigate their feelings through the insanity of Hawkins? Or will their feelings for each other never come to the surface? (Story takes place directly after the events of Season 4, Volume 1. It probably will not go into what happens for volume 2, but there will possibly be references to it and spoilers for season 4 in general.) [Steve Harrington x Eddie Munson] [Not smut]

Steve Harrington is just a normal high school boy, he flirts with girls, hangs out with robin and dustin but one day he decides to talk too Eddie Munson. Steve has fantasies of him and Eddie, he asks Nancy Wheeler for advice. Steve saves Eddie from almost dying, Eddie stays at Steve's place. *finished* "I- do you like guys?" He asked quietly. The other boy was shocked for only a moment. "Maybe..." he sighed sadly, studying the ground. Steve took a step closer to Eddie. "Yes or no?" he asked. "Yes" Eddie gulped and looked up into the taller boy's dark brown eyes. As they stared at each other for a little while, he noticed specks of gold and green within the gorgeous shades of reddish brown. "Your eyes are really pretty," he blurted. Steve chuckled. "Thank you, i love your smile" this made both boys blush a scarlet red. "I really like you" Steve leaned down and whispered into Eddie's ear, sending a chill down the other boy's spine. "I like you too, alot" he said, avoiding eye contact with Steve. the older boy gently grabbed his chin and forced him to look up. "Can I?" he asked, his eyes flickering to Eddie's lips. The smaller boy nodded, and a few seconds later, their lips collided. Steve Harrington is having a hard time adapting to life. He's traumatized, having nightmares, can't sleep, can't eat, and is dealing with abuse from his father. He's been hiding his troubles from everyone, and decides one night he can't take it anymore. He never would have thought Eddie Munson would be the boy to save him from this.

Steve Harrington (18) is the king of Hawkins High, he likes being king of the school with all the girls waiting in a line for him. But things changed when he meets Eddie 'the freak' Munson. Eddie Munson (19) leader of Hellfire Club, and is the biggest freak in the school. He was very confident getting any chance he could to mess with Jason Carver and his goons, but he had a secret no one knew.
