On an alien planet where callous, menacing soldiers rely on sex to fuel their battle rage, one human servant is about to bring their fearsome General to his knees. Joan doesn't remember how she arrived at Zolan. She just knows that, as the sole human servant in her military camp, she must keep her head down and never look the Masters in the eye. Unexpectedly, she runs into The General and breaks the single most important rule by meeting his icy gaze. There, she finds something that forever changes her quiet servant life: fascination. Now, Joan has a choice: resist the General's advances and continue her life of desperate survival, or submit to their intense attraction and allow him to claim her. As war closes in on the camp, Joan and the General wage a second, far more intimate battle. One of desire, defiance, and a forbidden connection that could change everything. *** Zolan Series Book #1 of 5
