Witty, daring and with a secret knack for painting Frances Granville arrives at London with two convictions: one, that she is not interested in men, especially not in lords who parade impeccably around courting innocent young ladies at balls only to close their nights in brothels. Two, that if she does not secure a husband, her father will make a match with someone at least twice her age and half her wits. Franny navigates the courting season, her loving and quaint family and her attraction to a certain Bridgerton brother with a charming smile while she finds her own definition of what it means to be a woman in the Regency era. The story of the sleeping beauty has been told time after a time. A beautiful princess cursed to sleep forever. A handsome brave prince that rescues her. A true love's kiss that wakes her up. It's a story as old as time, known in nearly every single realm as one of the most romantic tales. Unfortunately, time has erased some of the most important elements: 1) The story takes place in Narnia, a fact forgotten by many in our world. 2) The princess did more than just sleep during the battle, people just go straight to the climax without taking into consideration the rest of the plot. 3) It was no handsome prince who rescued her, but a King. High King Peter, the magnificent, to be precise. Follow the story of Rory Browning (or better known to all the worlds as Princess Aurora) and her journey of self-discovery and true love. Isabell never knew who her birth parents were, and she never asked. She was content with the couple who adopted her. But their time together was cut short. By the age of 14, she was left orphaned. Her mother was claimed by cancer when she was 7, and her father never returned from his last deployment with the army. As per her parents wills, she was sent to her grandfather's closest friend. She had never met the professor before, but he welcomed her with kindness and open arms. Over her 2 year stay with him, the professor eased her mind with stories of a magical land he called Narnia. He spoke fondly of the place, as if it were real. But Isabell never believe them to be more than simple stories. But she is proven wrong when her childhood friends arrive at the manor, and the youngest stumbles through a wardrobe in the spare room. Isabell soon finds out that the professor's stories were more than made up fantasies to help her sleep. And she in the Pevensies find more than they had hoped to in Narnia. Isabell learns more about herself and the blood that runs through her veins. Their lives will never be the same after entering the wardrobe. For once a king or queen of Narnia, always a king or queen of Narnia.

'We fight for the future of Narnia, and for such, the child is pivotal.' There are Prophesies in almost every world. Many are carved into cave walls, many are passed on by wise Elders as entire civilisations hold their breathes and wait hundreds, perhaps thousands of years for something or, more usually, someone. But this particular Narnian Prophecy was sung by the stars and held as whispers in the wind. This Prophecy took but days to begin. The Kings and Queens of Narnia simply couldn't understand why an untrained girl- Lilith, was her name- was sent to them amidst the dawn of battle. Lilith herself knew not what she'd done to deserve being thrown into the eye of a storm. But the Centaurs knew. The Fauns, the Dryads, the Talking Animals- each one of them knew. Lilith did unspeakable things as a guest of Royalty. She won the heart of an imperfect King, said the most unrefined things to incredibly refined people and even attempted murder within the Castle walls. But alas, all are part of a far, far bigger story; The story of 'She'. _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ 'Some walkways reminded her of Hogwarts. Some reminded her of Casterly Rock and others of Arthur's Castle in 'Merlin'. But no matter what fictional castle Lilith imagined around her, it was inescapable the fact that this castle, Cair Paravel, was real.' ~~~~~ ❗️NO generative AI was used in the writing of this fic, or any of my other works❗️ #1 thelionthewitchandthewardrobe (24/11/22) WilliamMoseley (31/12/20), Narniaau (23/03/21) LucyPevensie (21/01/21) Pevensie (04/03/22) #2 CSLewis (07/02/23) GoldenAge (20/02/21 & 24/01/23) NarniaFanfiction (07/08/22) #3 SkandarKeynes (27/09/21) CairParavel (08/01/22) #7 Narnia (29/03/21) #32 EdmundPevensie (22/10/22) #43 Prophecy (17/12/21) #59 Medieval (07/05/21)

{WATTY'S 2020 WINNER & EDITOR'S PICK.} Hopeless romantic and aspiring writer Mare Atwood has fallen madly in love with her childhood correspondent. There's only one catch-she doesn't know who he is. When the beaus of Star's Crossing return from boarding school to begin the courting season, Mare is determined to uncover the identity of her writer, flout her family's intentions of orchestrating an advantageous marriage, and procure the life of writing and romance she's always sought. But as in the tales she so adores, it won't be easy. Galas, masquerades, picnics, and hunts-alongside an old friend, a former teacher, and an unlikely ally, Mare delves into an investigation that leaves her torn between three clever, deceptive, and wealthy young bachelors. If Mare can confirm which is her writer and claim his hand before the courting season ends, she'll have her wish: the love of her life, a valuable marriage, and a future of writing romance. But with the eyes of Star's Crossing upon her, a business plot forcing invisible hands, and the unwillingness of her writer to come forward-Mare's future may not end in triumph, but tragedy. Set against the gilded Victorian backdrop of coastal Connecticut and lush with pre-war luxury, fans of Jane Austen, Margaret Mitchell, and Louisa May Alcott are sure to enjoy this lighthearted, lyrical novel of young love, independence, and identity. #1 Literary #1 YA Romance #1 Victorian #1 Lyrical #8 General Fiction

The Ice Lady... She is not the most charming. In fact, she is too cold, too frank, and too flat. Worse, the only home she has known all her life has been taken away from her and she has to find a way to keep it. Upon her mother's strong suggestion, she has to at least try to seduce the next Lord of Langworthy. The Cursed Friend... He is charming and rich. He is handsome and smart. Women wanted him. If only he was not cursed. For now, having everything leaves him with nothing to do but be the friend to help the future Lord of Langworthy escape from Lady Ice. When these two completely opposite individuals cross paths, sparks fly. (This story is a standalone prequel title in the Everard Family series.)
