Their fragile partnership is threatened when Jane must face up to the damage he's caused Lisbon in the past and his unwillingness to open up to her. This story explores the angle where Jane planned his return home causing major issues with his relationship with Lisbon, a missing link if found between Jane and Lisbon that causes huge doubts with Lisbon and what happens when feelings are left undeclared but acted upon physically.
