Izuku Midoriya was a typical kid in the quirk-filled world. Having a few close friends and living life despite only having a mother to support him, however, something changed when he came downstairs one evening. Izuku was kidnapped and tortured for years, looking for a way out and eventually seeking death. Then, someone new came around, and Izuku had chosen to live again. I do not own BNHA, all characters belong to Kohei Horikoshi. I do not own the cover art or any pictures

Izuku's parents had cool quirks. His mother has a rather weak Telekinesis, but it was useful for a number of tasks. His father can breathe fire. He could have been a popular hero if he'd wanted to, but he'd never aimed for it. Izuku got potentially the worst combination of those powers. Smoke Manipulation. A terrible power for a hero wannabe. Especially when your already arrogant underclassman got a cool quirk like Explosion.

Izuku Midoriya was a weird kid. He could usually be seen near Dagobah Beach, either in or around the vast piles of trash. If you asked him why he was rummaging around in garbage, he'd simply answer, 'one man's trash is another man's treasure!' and continue on his way, his large grey dog bounding along behind him. If you asked a resident who lived around the place, they'd look at you blandly, then perk up, saying, 'you mean the clock tower boy? Oh, yeah, he lives over there.' They'd point to the old clock tower, sitting not to far away. 'Strange little fellow,' they'd sometimes hum, before you left. The tower was a large, beautiful piece of work, the workmanship was very unusual in Japan. You'd say it was interesting, and then continue on your way, forgetting all about the clock tower boy. If you ever got to know the said clock tower boy, you might call him insane. Or mysterious, but you'd probably call him both. He was strange, mind seeming to be all over the place, and mouth mumbling things incomprehensible to the inexperienced ear. Would you like to know what he is mumbling? Would you like to know what goes on underneath those green curls? Perhaps it's omniscient knowledge, or secrets too shrouded in ebony to fully see. Is it calculated with numbers and with strings of possible networks? A never-ending stream of constant plannings? Or maybe. it's all dark. Like floating through an endless void of blackened waters. No one could really know could they? Even mind readers. They'd see, and look and feel all the feelings, but they could never, ever, understand the messy, mad-as-hatter blueprint mind that was Izuku Midoriya. Would you like to take a crack at it, my dearest friend? Yo! Inventor Deku story my guys! I don't own any my hero stuff just some characters and my plot. Please enjoy.

When he was 4, Izuku was deemed Quirkless. Having two joints in your pinky toe was a sure way to prove if one was born with a Quirk or not. There were only ever 2 cases in all of documented Quirk History where someone with the extra joint had developed a Quirk, so it was with absolute 100% certainty that the doctor had informed the crushed child and devastated mother that he would never develop one. He was wrong. A story where Izuku has an immortality Quirk that he finds more annoying than anything else. Featuring a Detective Tsukauchi who's practically adopted our favorite Green Bean.

Three years he spent on that godforsaken island. Three years running for his life and fighting tooth and nail for survival against creatures that should be nothing more than fossils. Three years of sharpening his instincts and senses into a weapon all their own. And finally, after three years, he had the opportunity to chase his dream. And he'd be damned if he let the opportunity pass him by. UA would have to handle him, ready or not. Midoriya Izuku was going to take the world of heroics by storm.

Izuku Midoriya had always been strong. He was born with a quirk that made him practically unbeatable. A quirk no one else could match. A quirk that he was forbidden from telling anyone about. A quirk he wouldn't tell any one about. Viewed as weak, he gets pushed around, bullied, abused, hated, hurt day in and day out. But he was still alive, and had people there to support him. His life was okay. It should have been okay.
