Krish Kapoor lived his life in half-songs - unfinished melodies, promises unspoken, love wrapped in fear. Vaani Batra was his anchor, his chaos, his only forever. But forever is fragile, and when silence grows louder than love, even the deepest bond begins to crack. This is not a story of perfect love. It is a story of aching, stumbling, breaking - and choosing each other anyway. Of learning that love doesn't mean staying untouched; it means carrying the scars, the music, and the memories long after the song ends. A tale of music, grief, and the kind of love that refuses to leave - even when it cannot stay. Because when forever comes undone, what remains is not the end. It's the fragments. The memories. The stubborn echo of a promise: "Forever and ever and ever."

I loved watching their story unfold over three hours. But there was still something there, a quiet feeling that I hadn't seen enough. Not because I didn't have enough, but because I wanted more. More about how they slowly fell in love. More times when they were quiet, talked, and showed how close they were. That's why I started writing: to explore the depths I thought were still hidden beneath the surface. This fan fiction is just me following that feeling and thinking about what might have happened that we don't see on screen.

Blinded by misunderstanding and anger, Arnav forces Khushi to marry him on the night of his brother and her sister's wedding. He makes it clear that they will be together for only six months and this whole thing is nothing but a contract to him - Neither will he ever accept her as his wife nor will she ever attain the status of his wife. They will be nothing but a pretense of a happily married couple. Then something happens. Something that shows Arnav that the truth is not always what we see but some times, it is something that we fail to perceive with the naked eye. And with that realization - heartbroken and guilty - Arnav sets on the path of redeeming everything he messed up. ___________ Author's note: This story has gone through a heavy editing. I was unsatisfied of the way I wrote the story - both the language and character development seemed weak to me. This is why, you can call this version the revised version of Daayre. While the main plot has remained the same, I have essentially changed few scenes completely. The characters, in my opinion, are now far more stronger and better. I hope you like this version just as much as I do. :)

As an avid fan of Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon? on Star Plus, there were many moments where I felt the story could have been better. This is my attempt at taking a divergent route from what was shown on TV. This is my take at what the Arshi story would have looked like had the story taken a turn after the temple bandage scene. At this point Arnav and Khushi realize there is an unnamed tug between the two of them. It does not have a name yet. They are both engaged or to be engaged to other people.

(IPKKND AU) Some relationships are tied in extraordinary ways. They begin with conflict. They grow in hatred. They stumble, they fall, and yet they remain. The hatred grows as the relationship deepens. Until one day, even hatred itself is reluctant to grow, and only the bond remains. But it's a bond of hatred. And isn't it naive to have expectations from a relationship founded in hatred?
