2 years after Stanley Yelnats left Camp Green lake, he had to leave his best friend Hector Zeroni because his family was moving for a year just to see how it is in a different state. Stanley and his family end up coming back to Texas after Stanley continuously begging to come back. Stanley's 17 now and seems to continuously have the same dream: he's back at camp digging (the one place he doesn't want to be) but a familiar face keeps approaching him in his dreams. it's Hector. One day everything simply changes.
