As a young child, Sebastian Walters met with misfortune when he came across a black wooden mask. It is a mask that has lived on for centuries as a curse, but has been hidden for so long that most people have not heard of it. When placed on his face, it infused itself into him, forever making him a slave unless it is removed while he is still alive. As the hand of fate turns, Sebastian marks his path to further investigate a way of removing the mask by finding hidden clues to piece together the puzzle of it's existence. *****Disclaimer***** This book is copy-written, so if you decide to try and steal it (Not that any self-respecting author would), I WILL RAISE HELL. That being said, I hope you enjoy the story! (: If you have any questions, advice, you want me to check out your stuff, or you just want to chat, feel free to message me. Welcome young Travellers. To a book of much inspiration. This book is the Second Book for getting your Creative Juices flowing. Check out 'Writers Juice' if you are looking for more inspiration. Among my travels for information for my other books. I have found many ideas, which would be great details to books, or even better, inspirations to books themselves. The book will be filled with prompts, both ideas and dialogue. Along with many other whimsical ideas you may want to add to your story. For Example did you know Petrichor is actually the word for the smell after rainfall, who knew? You hope to add that into a story now, don't you! Each of my chapters of Inspiration are named after a particular tea. Because what drink could possibly be a better writers best friend than Tea?

Welcome to Toontown where cartoon characters - Toons - live side-by-side with humans. The whole Who Framed Roger Rabbit cast is here: Roger Rabbit, Eddie Valiant, Baby Herman, and of course Jessica Rabbit, the sultriest woman ever "drawn that way." They're up to their old tricks in a whimsical new mystery by Toontown's original creator, the man who first brought these delightful creatures to life. Who P-p-p-plugged Roger Rabbit? opens with a call from Roger to hard-boiled private eye Eddie Valiant. Roger suspects that Jessica is baking her carrot cakes for movie heartthrob Clark Gable. The scandal threatens to rob Roger of the Rhett Butler role in the soon-to-be-filmed Toon musical comedy Gone with the Wind. Investigating Jessica's alleged affair, valiant Eddie finds adultery turning to murder. In no time flat, he's up to his fedora in a nasty web of deceit, intrigue, and Hollywood corruption including reports from all over of a swindling, cheating, blackmailing....Roger!!?!?! Something is really p-p-p-popping in Toontown! Some of the wildest creatures seen in fiction (and real life) abound: Police Sergeant Bulldog Bascomb, a full-blooded hound with razor-sharp teeth sunk into Eddie's case: Heddy, Eddie's sister and possible prime suspect; Kirk Enigman, a very "shadow"-y guy; and Joellyn, Jessica's twin sister, shockingly different in one small way! As if this isn't enough, human luminaries run fast and furious. In addition to Gable, David O. Selznick, Carole Lombard (Baby Herman's latest plaything), and Vivien Leigh (Valiant's dalliance?) all play a role. Who P-p-p-plugged Roger Rabbit? is a comically brilliant sequel, as unique and original as the first time we saw Roger and Jessica together in Wolf's Who Censored Roger Rabbit?, the book that kicked off the whole Toon craze.

[NOTE: This book was written in 2010, a time of long-distance phone cards, weight-loss obsessions, and searching for a man as a solution to life's problems-what a messy time to be alive! In other words, I hope you enjoy this throwback, and while this book does end on a cliffhanger of sorts, the sequel addresses any unanswered questions (which is hopefully fair, given that book 1 is free, ya know?] An awkward family homecoming at Christmas. A humiliating public weigh-in, with two judging parents as the audience. The announcement of a deadline for arranged marriage doom. And that's just the first two chapters. In "Year of the Chick," Romi Narindra must find love before her parents find her a husband. Easy to say, less easy to live through, as this book takes you deep inside "awkward Indian living in the West." To escape her fate, Romi wades through the waters of secret-dating, where self-consciousness is at an all-time high, and experience at an all-time low. It's the sort of thing that would turn almost anyone into a man-crazy freak with romance tunnel-vision, and that's exactly what ends up happening. All the while, a lack of inspiration in her corporate job leads Romi to her love of writing, in what quickly becomes a man-quest play-by-play. From whiskey-breath scum bags to uni-brow creeps and everything in between, Romi and her wingmen come up empty time after time. And that's when she meets a fellow writer. On the Internet. So will it be arranged marriage doom, or an Internet affair that's not as creepy as "To Catch a Predator"? Time will tell in the "year of the chick," a twelve-month quest to find love. Tick-tock. --------------------------------------------- "Year of the Chick" is book one of a series, and book two is available at Amazon! LENGTH: 75,000 words or 285 pages DISCLAIMER: this book contains profanities, blunt accounts of the dating scene, and many awkward family moments. Enjoy!
