It's been forty years since the War of the Sandwing Succession, and Pyrrhia has been at some moderate peace. Gelid is Queen Blizzard's personal bodyguard. Young, loyal, reckless and determined, Gelid will do anything to keep her queen safe. It is the 30th annual Winter-Spring celebrations where rainwings and icewings came together as friends with the same interests in mind. But the celebration is in danger. After the celebrations are attacked, it's up to Gelid to figure it out before her Queen gets hurt and the relations between the icewings and rainwings and the rest of Pyrrhia explode in turmoil. But before she knew it, old friend of Queen Blizzard's past is back to kill her, half the dragon tribes are on the brink of war with the rest of Pyrrhia and... The Talons of Power are back and they will show the world no mercy. I do not own Wings of Fire or the series, this is merely a fanfiction of an idea I've had for a long time. This story is based off the ending of book 10 and ignores the ending of the epilogue and anything after it. This story is also available on Ao3 and fanfiction.net under the same name.u The sequel has been published, named The Turning Tides.

"TWO SHALL DIE AND ONE SHALL LEARN." ______________________________________ The dragonets of destiny have given up on the prophecy. But one dragon isn't willing to let the war go on. Hare will do whatever it takes to see the war end and let the continent live in peace. She will give the SandWings a queen, though she's not sure she'd be able to watch her mother die. When Hare realizes that there's no convincing her friends to keep trying, she turns to another group of dragonets to ask them for help. Flame hates the prophecy. He hates his stupid fate and the stupid NightWing that threw him into this mess. When he finds out the prophecy was fake all along, he's more than happy to give up. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war. Both groups of dragonets have lived their entire lives in a lie, but one will end the war and make Pyrrhia the continent it was before. Even though they were thrown into a misshapen destiny, hope has returned. _________________________________________ The "Twisted Skies" AU belongs to AppleCinnamonCandles Wings of Fire belongs to Tui T. Snowflake was a normal icewing dragonet. Blueish-white scales and a disciplined, icy personality, living within his parent's sixth circle. As normal as normal can get. He had no idea how much his life was about to change. His goal was to become the highest ranked adult dragon in his family, and his dream was already in reach. He just turned six years old, and through hard work and tiresome training, he had made it to the top of the fifth dragonet circle. If only he could reach the fourth circle by his seventh birthday, he would be happy with being an upper-middle class citizen of the ice kingdom. However, there are many dragons attempting to thwart his success. The lowerclass icewings are jealous of his advancements, while the higherclass are skeptical. While dealing with these challenges, Snowflake discovers a strange rock after following a streak of light deep within the tundra. Upon touching the rock, his claws fill with power unlike any other. A week after the incident, an elderly nightwing meets him at the edge of the icewing border to deliver a special message: Behold the power of the stars Beware, for you may bear invisible scars Your talons of ice Will no longer be used to slice But this new power you possess May leave you in distress Cease your strife And become a dragon of life Else, you will be a dragon of death Heed my warning till' your final breath

𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁... 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆? Life in the rainforest is peaceful. The RainWings live in a place where everything is shared. Food is plentiful, no one ever fights, and even in the midst of war, the kingdom is quiet. Chameleon would never expect anything bad to happen in the forest. A normal dragonet at first, Chameleon discovers that the RainWings are anything but nice. After a nasty encounter, he gains a snout deformity that affects his scales. He suddenly discovers that he has no respect, no friends, and no hope. Eventually, Chameleon is exiled for one simple reason: He is different from everyone else. And then the RainWings do something that Chameleon would never forgive them for. Brimming with fury, Chameleon sets out to prove everyone that indeed he is different- but better than them all. But nothing could prepare Chameleon for what he discovers out in the wilds of Pyrrhia- something so influential that not even Chameleon himself could grasp the true power of it. Now he discovers he has a chance of rewriting his identity, his history, and his future. At last, Chameleon has the potential to make a difference... but what will this scarred, bitter dragon do with his newfound power? _____________________________________________________________ Chameleon ran over to Moss, who was crying, her wings askew. "Did you kill them?" he whispered to Moss. Moss looked up at Chameleon, her eyes glistening with tears. "No," she choked. "You know I wouldn't. That monster- Jaguar- pinned it on me. I promise, Chameleon. I didn't kill anyone. Why are they blaming it on us? What did we do?" "I have an idea," said Chameleon quietly, dangerously. He hissed. "Being different. That's what happened." He drew himself up and curled his claws in. "Trust me, Moss, I will get my revenge." Because no one should be punished for being different. _____________________________ [DISCONTINUED BOOK]

Don't tell a soul... Peacemaker was never deemed ordinary compared to most other dragonets. Still, one incident is all it took for him to fall down a rabbit hole of deception, guilt, memories, and an unexpected friend. Once Peacemaker gets an invitation to Jade Mountain Academy to get away from everything behind in the rainforest, he accepts. But as Peacemaker continues forward despite the incident, he soon is wrapped up in the results of the past and new problems in the future, where Peacemaker is forced to use his knowledge, intelligence, and lying capabilities to solve them. However, as fate keeps pressuring him in other directions, should he trust the visions leading him down a certain path, or can he find a way to break free from the chains? Is he able to trust in his new friends, or how far is he willing to continue alone until he cracks? A note from the Author: This is a Wings of Fire alternate universe and takes place after the events of Book 15 by years; none of these characters are mine(besides a few made-up dragons...I guess) and they belong to Tui Sutherland. Additional Note: This story takes place years after, meaning these characters are significantly older than they are currently in the canon. They have not met up in the canon as well. Some romantic relationships appear in the story that you may or may not like, so be warned. If you don't like it, then don't read it. Additionally, some chapters feature artwork, particularly recent ones, and some drawings were created previously, while others were produced more recently. If you don't like the artwork, then I recommend going to Ao3, which is the whole story until the most recent chapter with zero artwork. Now with this in mind, enjoy reading.

"You sought dominance and killed anything for a piece of it. You and your so-called city of future, ripped from the scales not yours." Years after the Tree Wars, set in the elegant and covetous city of Fyrerost and the crumbling Hymeno, a city buried beneath the wealth. When escalating unrest ruptures between the two cities and brawls break out between sides, Nomada must make a choice that will alter the outcome of Pantala forever. _____________________________________________ The hope from within... Before the construction of the hives, two cities stood amid the growing continent. Wealth and prosperity grew above Fyrerost, leaving only dust and scraps for the underdeveloped Hymeno, and conflicts ensued at every corner of the cities. Secluded beneath the thriving city, a new powder called "augments" provides Undergrounders with unfathomable power, but at a cost. Tensions boil with the creation of the "mesmer", a way for Queen Wasp to infuse her mind into any HiveWings. Bloodsheds between the two cities inflict permanent ruin, and Nomada finds himself in the middle of a war between rogue convicts and deadly poisons. _____________________________________________ Based on Wings of Fire by Tui T.
