He only has his scarred hoodie, it's cold out. His arm is badly damaged from the incident, and he starts to get sick. One day Tord starts coughing and eventually fades black, but someone was there to save him. He doesn't get any better, and he starts hearing voices. He doesn't know how much longer he can go on...
