Bucky doesn't like parties and he's made it abundantly clear, and yet he still manages to let Sam coerce him into attending the New Year's Eve party at the newly renovated Avengers Compound. For most people, the beginning of a new year brings about feelings of happiness, excitement and new beginnings, but sometimes, there comes a moment when you have to step back and reflect on what's already there to appreciate the future.

After Cass gets hurt at the park, Bucky finds himself in a role he or Sam hadn't exactly been prepared for.

"Okay, so technically this was his fault. He started this war with her a couple weeks ago, and honestly, he could pinpoint a few moments when it turned into dangerous territory. They were flirting, heavy, and at first it was just to piss Sam off, but suddenly it was happening when Sam wasn't around." Bucky and Sarah find themselves venturing beyond the lines that were drawn out. Very Very Mature theme. Explicit, and definitely not suitable for certain audiences.

It was supposed to be casual: two adults just having a great time, but for Sarah and Bucky to be such meticulous people, they sure ignored a few key rules to a successful Summer Fling.
